Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy applies to orders placed with Lumenkraft, a proprietary concern, No. 20, Thiruppur Kumaran Street, New Perungalathur, Chennai — 600063, Tamil Nadu, India (GSTIN 33AUCPS9276L1ZY, UDYAM-TN-02-0431942) ("Lumenkraft").

1. Right to cancel

Private (non-business) customers may cancel their order within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation must be made in writing — by e-mail to info@lumenkraft.in or by registered post with acknowledgement due. The period begins no earlier than the day the customer receives this policy. Sending the cancellation within the period is sufficient.

2. Refund

On a valid cancellation, Lumenkraft refunds all payments received within 14 days of receiving the cancellation, to the account or payment method they were made from. No fee is charged for the refund.

If, at the customer's express request, Lumenkraft has already started work within the cancellation period (for example filed the DISCOM / net-metering application or delivered material), Lumenkraft may deduct the documented fees paid to third parties on the customer's behalf and the reasonable cost of collecting delivered material.

3. Cancellation after the cancellation period

After the cancellation period, clause 14 of the General Terms & Conditions applies: Lumenkraft may retain compensation of up to 25% of the contract value, and the customer may prove that a lower loss has occurred. Any balance of payments received is refunded within 14 days.

If Lumenkraft raises its prices above the Consumer Price Index (clause 4 of the General Terms & Conditions), the customer may cancel without compensation and receives a full refund.

4. Defective goods and workmanship

Defective products or workmanship are remedied by repair or replacement under the warranty (clause 13 of the General Terms & Conditions). Where a defect cannot be remedied, the customer is entitled to a proportionate price reduction or refund as provided by law.

5. Not refundable by Lumenkraft

Government subsidies (e.g. PM Surya Ghar) are paid by the authorities and are not refunded or advanced by Lumenkraft. Statutory fees paid by the customer directly to the DISCOM or other authorities are refunded only by those authorities, under their rules.

By signing the order the customer confirms having received the quotation together with the technical datasheets, a copy of the order confirmation and Lumenkraft's General Terms & Conditions, and having read and understood this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
